About Research Training Stipend (RTP) Scholarships CQ-University 2021
Research Training Stipend scholarships are Australian government sponsored scholarships allocated to Universities to support to international students undertaken research degree programs in Australia. The full scholarship program targets outstanding and high achieving international students intending to study in Australia.
If secure a postgraduate research admission in CQ-University in any discipline across the University, this scholarship will automatically be awarded to support tuition and living cost.

Eligibility Criteria for RTP Scholarships CQ-University
To be eligible for RTP scholarships, applicants are expected to meet all the entry requirements at CQ University and fulfil the conditions of award of the Commonwealth Scholarship Guidelines (Research) 2017
- Overseas candidate enrolled in an accredited RHD course of study at CQ University.
- Applicants must not be receiving income from another source to support the candidate’s general living costs while undertaking their course of study if that income is greater than 75 per cent of the candidate’s RTP Stipend rate
- Applicants must not be receiving an equivalent award of scholarship from the Commonwealth designed to offset RHD tuition fees.
Selection criteria RTP Scholarships CQ-University
The RPT scholarship is offered on merit based and the consideration of other factors such as :
- Academic achievement and writing skills (0-20 points)
- Quality of research project and alignment with CQUniversity research priority areas (0-15 points)
- Evidence of motivation, research experience and research environment (0-15 points)

How to apply for RTP Scholarships CQ-University
There is no direct admissions for RTP scholarships. Applicants are expected to contact potential supervisors, discuss their research interest interest. Prospective applicants will be invited by the School of Graduate Research to complete an application, based on the recommendation of the supervisory team.
