Western Australian Premier’s University Scholarship: Semester 2, 2026

Meet Swinburne University’s entry requirements for the chosen program.
Secure the support of a Principal Supervisor at Swinburne.
Submit a complete Higher Degree by Research (HDR) application, including a detailed research proposal and referee reports.
Agree to scholarship terms, including timely completion of the degree.
Selection Criteria
The selection process will be merit-based, with consideration of:
Academic achievements in previous studies (GPA, class ranking, transcripts).
Quality and feasibility of the submitted research proposal.
Research potential and alignment with Swinburne’s research priorities.
Professional or research experience relevant to the proposed study.
Recommendations and referee reports.
Supervisor’s endorsement and willingness to support the project.

If the supervisor agrees, they will complete an Application for Tuition Fee Scholarship on your behalf.
Prepare and submit your HDR application with a research proposal, referee reports, and academic transcripts via Swinburne’s online system.
Wait for the review process (may take up to eight weeks).
