Eligibility Criteria 

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Hold an Honours or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in biomedical sciences or a closely related field.

  • Demonstrate strong research skills and a proven ability to conduct independent research.

  • Have a clear interest or background in female reproductive health, particularly in endometrial biology, embryo implantation, or endometriosis.

  • Meet RMIT University’s PhD entry requirements for Higher Degree by Research (HDR) programs.

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (international applicants may need to meet English language requirements).

Eligible Countries: Open to both domestic and international students.
Eligible Course: PhD in Medical Science (STEM College).

Selection Criteria 

Selection will be merit-based and assessed on the following criteria:

  • Academic performance and achievements in previous degrees (e.g., Honours/Master’s results).

  • Demonstrated research potential and relevant laboratory experience.

  • Alignment of the applicant’s research interests with the project area (endometrial biology, embryo implantation, endometriosis).

  • Quality of referee reports and recommendation letters.

  • Previous publications or conference presentations (if applicable).

  • Motivation and clarity of research proposal or statement of purpose.
