There is over A$500 000 worth of scholarships available for international students to study at CQC Regional campuses in  in Cairns and Rockhampton. Eligibility Criteria for CQC Destination Australia 2021 2022

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants are expected to :

Selection criterial for the scholarship will include :

To be selected for this scholarship, applicants must meet all the following criteria :

  • Be a new student to CQUniversity 
  • Attained an overall grade of at least 65% or equivalent in your most recent studies.
  • The scholarship is not transferable to other campuses.
  • You must remain enrolled at the Cairns or Rockhampton campus.
  • You must maintain a valid Student Visa for the duration of your scholarship.
  • You must maintain ongoing residency in the regional area where your study is based, for the duration of the scholarship.
  • Submission of a 500 word study statement at the time of application.
  • Accept your offer and pay by 11 June 2021.

Applicants are equally expected to submit all the supporting documents. This include :

  • Written submission
  • CQUniversity unofficial transcript
  • Documents demonstrating community involvement, exemplary work or demonstration of leadership
  • Resume

How to apply for the Destination  Australia scholarships

There is no application fee involved. The whole application process is being done online via CQC online application portal known as iStart. It is an easy system to use with a guide through. During the application process you will have indicate the scholarship you are going in for. All courses are open for application and there are no changes to the application process.

For research degree students or courses however, you have to follow the normal research degree application procedure in most Australia Universities, that is Submit an Expression of Interest(EoI) first via iStart, which will ask you ask to select your, location, providing a brief description of your research proposal. If the submission is successful, you will then be invited to submit a full application as a research degree candidate.
