UniSA Research Scholarships 2024-2025

The University of South Australia (UniSA) is offering the UniSA Research Scholarships 2024 to support talented and high-achieving international students interested in pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree by research. These scholarships are fully funded, covering various aspects of study and living expenses, allowing recipients to focus entirely on their academic and research pursuits. The program is open to international students and graduates across diverse fields, providing a pathway to study at one of Australia’s top research institutions.

Scholarship Overview

• Stipend Value: at least $32,500 per annum
• Health insurance: Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for international student

• Relocation allowance and travel support: Includes one-time airfare for return tickets
• Study Level: Master’s by Research / PhD by Research
• Study Courses: Open to multiple fields (detailed list below)
• Eligibility: Open to international students
• Number of Positions: 300
• Duration: Up to 2 years for a Master’s by Research degree and up to 4 years for a PhD

Eligibility Criteria 

To qualify for the UniSA Research Scholarships, applicants must:

1. Be an international student or research scholar.
2. Hold an undergraduate degree (for Master’s applicants) or a Master’s degree (for PhD applicants) from a recognized institution.
3. Have a strong academic record with evidence of prior research potential.
4. Be prepared to enroll full-time in a Master’s or PhD research program at UniSA.
5. Meet any additional program-specific requirements.
6. Be in good health both physically and mentally to undertake the rigors of graduate research.
