The University of Adelaide Australia is currently looking for a number of outstanding eligible international students to apply for its postgraduate research programs under the Australian government research scholarships program(RTPS). This international student scholarship position is open for all Masters and PhD research programs across the university faculty. So it is open to any course of choice in the University.

The scholarships are open to eligible international students from all nations and gender. The scholarship aims to support these outstanding students with tuition cover, living supports etc..  to study in Australia and undertake research in the University of Adelaide, one of Australia's most renown University with leading research impact across the Country and the world.

  • Scholarship rate: Full tuition fee cover
  • Scholarship Value:$28,597 (2021 rate)
  • Living cost support: Fortnight stipends
  • Additional benefits: support for an Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), plus relocation and publication expenses.
  • Degree Program: Masters/PhD by research
  • Field of study: Any research course across the University
  • Citizen type: International students
  • Country: open to all nationalities
  • Scholarship Duration: up to 2 years for a  masters program, up to 3 years for a doctoral program (with a possible 6 month extension)

Eligibility criteria for RTP stipend scholarships University of Adelaide

Eligibility for these scholarships  is based on a number of considerations including meeting the minimum entry requirements at the University of Adelaide. To be eligible for this scholarships the followings must be met:
  1. Applicants must be eligible to enrol in a full-time Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program at the University of Adelaide
  2. As an international applicant, you must maintain 'international student' status for the duration of their enrolment at the University. 
  3.  Applicants must  meet the minimum English language proficiency requirements to study at the University of Adelaide

(Master of Philosophy (No Honours) applicants only:

  •  Applicants  must be completing, or have completed and been awarded a relevant Bachelor Degree or equivalent with an achieved minimum of a distinction average (GPA of 6.0 or above).
  • applicants shouldn't be a student completing or who have completed undergraduate studies at the University of Adelaide only. Find more details on eligibility criteria on the Conditions of award
