 About the positions

Research Training Program International (RTPi) Scholarships 2024/2025   University of South Australia

Research Training Program International (RTPi) are fully funded scholarship program funded by the Australian government and awarded to international students on the basis of merit and research potential. RTPi provides stipend allowances, and tuition fees cover for a specific duration of the degree program

The RTPi at the University of South Australia is aligned with specific projects. The scholarships are open to all eligible international students to undertake research degree Masters or PhD at UniSA via specific projects.

These scholarships are fully funded and aligned to any of the multiple projects available at the University of South Australia.  In other words, these scholarships are associated with research projects, applicants only apply for a scholarship when they apply for a research project. Multiple research projects are available at the University of South Australia all year round, the closing date for each scholarship is specific to the project.

RTPi scholarship overview

• Scholarship type: Full tuition fee cover
• Scholarship stipend value: $32,500 per annum (2023 rate)
• Health insurance: Overseas student health cover(OSHC), plus dependents
• Degree Program: MSc/ PhD
• Available in:   In all faculties via specific projects

• Award Duration: up to 3years for Ph.D., 2 for Masters

Eligible criteria for RTPi scholarships

The scholarships are aligned with specific projects.

Applicants for all projects are competitively assessed and selected on information provided in the application and any interviews that may occur.

International students must meet UniSA minimum English language requirements to be eligible for entry into a research degree.

Applications for RTPi are made online via a project that has an assigned scholarship
