Fully-funded PhD scholarship position in Neural Principles of Dual Sensor Vision Systems in Machine Vision Applications at the University of Newcastle, Australia
Applications are currently open for a fully-funded PhD scholarship position in Neural Principles of Dual Sensor Vision Systems in Machine Vision Applications at the University of Newcastle. This is a joint research project in collaboration with the University-industry partner 4Tel Pty Ltd in Newcastle, Australia. The successful recipient will be part of an interdisciplinary team of researchers from computer science and industry. The project will require designing and training deep neural networks where existing libraries can be combined with new implementations
The scholarship will offer a full-tuition cover for the successful recipient for a four years duration, and a living stipend for up to 3.5 years. The scholarship will equally include a relocation allowance, and an Overseas Student Health Cover(OSHC) at a single rate, for an international candidate. The scholarship will be awarded to the successful recipient subject to the grant/funding being fully established.
