it down for you.
Most Universities in Australia have no application fee for international
students, especially for postgraduate research students (See a
list of 11 Universities in Australia without application fees). This is a great opportunity for many international students with strong
academic qualifications to apply to as many Universities as possible so as to
increase their chances of securing admission and a scholarship to study in
Australia. During my time, I couldn't keep count of the number of prospective
supervisors and Universities I was in contact with me. The good news is, that
paid! and it paid so well.
So how can you study for free in Australia as an international student?
⇒By meeting scholarships and admission requirements, ⇒ By understanding the
whole application procedure and early preparations for applications,⇒ By
applying for scholarships that have no application fees. See details below
1. Check admissions and scholarship requirements for your degree program
early
To have a successful application, you might want to check the admissions and
scholarship requirements for your interest program early. Most of these
requirements take time to meet. It is not a one-day workday. In my case, I had
already had plans for a PhD adventure while on my Master. I checked for these
requirements two years ahead and start working towards them immediately. Some
requirements for PhD admissions and scholarships include publications,
outstanding academic achievements, strong research potential etc. You need
years to prepare for this. So the earlier the better. Find in detail
below some general requirements for various degree programs to study in
Australia
2. Start application preparation early and get familiar with the whole
procedure
You should equally start preparation for your application early. If you have
succeeded in meeting all the above requirements, or the requirements for your
degree program, the next thing you want to do is to get familiar with the
whole admissions and scholarship application procedure to study abroad. This
will save you a lot of time and increase your chances of success.
You equally want to check the admission and scholarship period for your degree
program. Most scholarships in Australia are in rounds. You might not want to
miss the deadline for your degree program or the scholarship round. Most
Universities recommend international students interested to secure
scholarships check scholarship rounds before submitting candidature.
Application for most research degree programs in Australia is done by first
submitting a candidature application usually via an Expression of
Interest(EoI), and then applying for a scholarship with no separate
application. So if you miss the scholarship deadline for your degree program,
you might have to defer your study and wait for the scholarship round.
Applications are usually open all year round for research degree programs in
most Universities.
3. Apply for Scholarships with no application fees
So, you have checked to see that you meet all the minimum entry requirements
for your degree program, all your documents are equally ready including your
English Proficiency certificates(For those in need) etc.., the next step is to
apply for scholarships. Australia has many Universities with no application
fees for international students. Here is a

Apply for
fully funded scholarships
in Universities with no application. With a fully-funded scholarship, you
don't have to pay any tuition fees. Plus most fully funded scholarships in
Australia especially postgraduate research scholarships cover your living
expenses through fortnight stipends, they provide health covers(sometimes even
for dependents), and in some cases, the scholarship provides relocation
