Deakin Global Health Leaders Scholarship 2025

Deakin University's Faculty of Health offers the Deakin Global Health Leaders Scholarship to support international students aiming to excel in health-related studies. This prestigious scholarship provides a tuition reduction and is aimed at enhancing global health leadership by attracting outstanding students to Deakin’s health programs. This opportunity allows international students to pursue advanced studies in various health disciplines at a reputable Australian institution.

 Scholarship Overview

• Scholarship Type: Partial tuition fee reduction
• Value: 20% discount on the total indicative tuition fee for the standard course duration
• Study Level: Master’s degrees
• Eligible Courses:
  • Master of Health Promotion (H759)
  • Master of Public Health (H757)
  • Master of Health Economics (H704)
  • Master of Health Management (H756)
  • Master of Nutrition and Population Health (H748)
• Duration: Covers standard course duration; does not apply to repeated or additional units
• Citizen Type: International students only
• Deadline: Trimester 3, 2025

Eligibility Criteria 

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be international students enrolling in one of the eligible master’s courses.
• Meet the English language and academic requirements for their selected course.
• Not hold any other Deakin scholarship or bursary.
  Academic Requirements:
• Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree with an equivalent Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 65%.

Selection Criteria 

Selection will be based on meeting the eligibility criteria, including:

• Academic excellence as demonstrated by the WAM score.
• Meeting course-specific entry requirements.
• Commitment to the chosen field of study.

How to Apply 

There is no separate application required for this scholarship. Prospective students will be automatically considered for the scholarship when applying for one of the eligible courses listed above.
