RMIT Foundation Studies Scholarship 2025

The RMIT Foundation Studies Scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to high-achieving international students commencing their Foundation Studies program at RMIT University. This initiative aims to support talented individuals in their educational journey and set the stage for future academic success in Australia.

This scholarship is a one-off payment toward tuition fees and is available exclusively to new international students enrolling in the February 2025 intake for any stream of the Foundation Studies program.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be an international student holding a valid student visa or planning to apply for one prior to program commencement.
  • Have an existing offer letter (full or conditional) and commence the program in February 2025.
  • Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the scholarship.
  • Not be an existing Foundation Studies student.

Selection Criteria 

Scholarship selection is based on academic merit, and candidates are evaluated on:

  • Academic achievements in prior studies.
  • The potential for success in the chosen Foundation Studies program.
Terms and Conditions
  • The scholarship is non-refundable and applicable only toward tuition fees.
  • It must be used for the intake for which it is awarded (February 2025) and cannot be deferred.
  • Applicants with ELICOS packaged offers are eligible if they commence the Foundation Studies program in February 2025.
  • The scholarship cannot be combined with other external scholarships or government-funded sponsorships.
  • Selection is based on academic merit, and the scholarships will be offered on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
  • Successful applicants will receive official notification, while unsuccessful candidates will not be contacted.
