Deakin University HDR PhD Scholarship 2025 in Anti-Doping Among Women
This scholarship opportunity is sponsored by Deakin University in collaboration with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) to support an outstanding research candidate to explore the issue of doping among women athletes.
The fully funded scholarship is open to both domestic and international applicants who wish to pursue a PhD through the High Degree by Research (HDR) program at Deakin University, Australia. The project is led by Associate Professor Matthew Dunn and supported by a global network of academic collaborators from Australia, the UK, and Sweden.

Scholarship Overview
- Scholarship type: Full tuition fee cover (up to 4 years for international students)
- Stipend value: Living allowance of $35,550 per year (2025 rate, tax-free) for 3 years
- Other supports: Relocation allowance of $500–$1500 for interstate applicants
- Health insurance: Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for international candidates

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
