University of Auckland Top Achiever Scholarship 2025–2026

The University of Auckland is offering the Top Achiever Scholarship to recognise and reward exceptional students with outstanding academic records and demonstrated leadership potential.

This prestigious opportunity is open to high-achieving students from New Zealand and around the world who are commencing an undergraduate degree at the University of Auckland.

The scholarship, valued at $25,000 in total, provides one year of catered accommodation at the University’s Hall of Residence, plus a living stipend. The program seeks to attract and support students who have excelled academically while also making significant contributions to sports, arts, culture, or community leadership.

 Scholarship Overview

• Scholarship type: Partial scholarship with accommodation and stipend

• Total value: $25,000, comprising:

  • One year of catered accommodation at a University of Auckland Hall of Residence

  • $5,000 living stipend

• Study Level: Undergraduate degree

• Study Course: Open to all undergraduate study areas

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be planning to enrol full-time in an undergraduate degree at the University of Auckland in 2026

• Have achieved exceptional academic results at NCEA Level 2 or higher (or equivalent qualification)

• Demonstrate outstanding achievements in sports, arts, culture, leadership, or community service
