Murdoch University Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship 2026 

The Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship is a prestigious initiative sponsored by the Westpac Bicentennial Foundation to empower the next generation of Australian technology leaders. This opportunity supports outstanding school leavers who are passionate about using technology to drive positive social change.

The scholarship is designed for students commencing a technology-related undergraduate degree in 2026. Beyond financial support, scholars will receive leadership training, access to paid internships, mentorship from industry experts, and an international learning experience in Asia. Successful applicants also join the exclusive Westpac 100 Scholars Network, a lifelong community of innovators and changemakers.

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Have completed Year 12 in 2024 or 2025

  • Be commencing their first undergraduate degree in 2026

  • Accept an offer into an eligible Bachelor-level program in Engineering, Information Technology, Creative Arts, or selected Science majors

  • Demonstrate:

    • Strong interest in technology

    • Curiosity about innovative tech-driven solutions

    • Commitment to leadership and personal growth

    • Willingness to actively contribute to the Westpac Scholars Alumni

    • Diverse skills, community involvement, or extracurricular participation
