About ANU University Research Scholarships
The Australian National University Research Scholarships are
being offered yearly by the
Australian National University to support and attract outstanding research students around the who
are conducting research aligned with the strategic directions of the
University. This scholarships supports both tuition and living
supports for successful applicants.
ANU University Research Scholarships benefits and Value
For successful applicants the benefits of this scholarship includes
:

Full tuition fee cover; $28,597 per annum 2021 value

Living Supports: Fortnight stipends
-
Travel and Removal allowances for students relocating to Canberra to
commence their research program
- Thesis allowance
-
Dependent Child allowance (International students only)

Paid medical, maternity and parental leave

Deadline : Open all Year round
How ever, interested international applicants are encouraged to apply for
admission by either 15 April in the year of commencing their HDR Program or
31 August in the year prior to commencing their HDR Program. All supporting
documents must be submitted before this closing date. The current
application for Round 2 (2022/2023) is
1st September-15 April 2022.

commence in 2021

2022 Round 1 International : Closing 31 August 2021 to commence in
2022

Eligibility Criteria ANU University Research Scholarships
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be a prospective or
continuing student who is :

an international student enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study
at the University
-
has achieved a minimum of H1 or H1 equivalent in their prior
studies

Selection Criteria for the ANU University Research
Scholarships
There is a ranking and score process to select the most outstanding
students eligible for this scholarship. This include :
- Academic Record

Research Potential, support from the prospective supervisor and
location in which the research will be undertaken
- Referee reports

Comparison with other applications received in the same scholarship
round
