The Wollongong University school of computing and information technology is currently open to an exciting PhD scholarship position to interested applicants with outstanding academic achievement and strong research potentials.

The scholarship is for a duration of three years full time. Benefits of the scholarship will include a tuition fee support and living expenses. Selection criteria for this scholarship

Scholarships are merit-based. To be successful, eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Honours degree with 2nd class Division 1 or higher; or Research Masters with at least ⅔ of the degree comprising a thesis; or UOW Masters of Research with WAM70+; or Coursework Masters with a substantial thesis and WAM75+ or GPA 3.2 out of 4. Other forms of research experience also can be considered.
  •  Level of English language competency and other requirements as stated at the University of Wollongong website;
  •  Hard-working style and can-do attitude;
  • Having good academic track record, e.g. publication(s) as the first author in a conference/ journal venue;
  •  Professional experience is desirable.
