Selection criteria for this scholarship
Scholarships are merit-based. To be successful, eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Honours degree with 2nd class Division 1 or higher; or Research Masters with at least ⅔ of the degree comprising a thesis; or UOW Masters of Research with WAM70+; or Coursework Masters with a substantial thesis and WAM75+ or GPA 3.2 out of 4. Other forms of research experience also can be considered.
- Level of English language competency and other requirements as stated at the University of Wollongong website;
- Hard-working style and can-do attitude;
- Having good academic track record, e.g. publication(s) as the first author in a conference/ journal venue;
- Professional experience is desirable.
