ECU School of Nursing and Midwifery is currently seeking outstanding eligible
candidates to apply for the PhD Scholarship "Developing Aged Care
Nurses'. The scholarship program is open to as a recommendation by the
Commonwealth Department of Health to support a Transition to
Professional Practice (TtPP)’ programs for registered nurses entering the aged
care sector.
The PhD Scholar will have the opportunity to work with one research
collaborative to explore participants’ experiences and outcomes of the
TtPP program using a mixed methods approach.

Eligibility criteria for this scholarship
Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship to study at ECU
a Registered nurse who has completed Honours or Master by Research
Applicants should be full time domestic or international student
Preferred skills
Full research training will be provided however, knowledge and/or experience
of qualitative research methods, survey methodology and experience with
statistical analysis and related software (e.g., Stata, SAS, R, SPSS) would be
advantageous
