The University of South Australia School of Information and computing
sciences invites applications for fully-funded PhD scholarship positions
in Semantic integration for digital plant and digital twin
interoperability
The PhD project: Semantic integration for digital plant and digital
twin interoperability seeks to develop novel Artificial Intelligence
techniques for the automated establishment of interoperability between
different systems in a digital plant or digital twin. The eligible
candidate will develop AI methods for multilevel semantic
representation, knowledge graphs and knowledge mappings
The projects offer many opportunities for successful applicants such
as working in the rapidly growing Industrial AI Research Centre and
producing conceptual models and demonstration implementations, writing and
publication of conference and journal papers, including travel to
conferences. The work will involve frequent contact with industrial
partners.
The scholarship will offer full tuition fees to cover the eligible
applicants for the standard term of the program. The offer also includes a
living allowance scholarship of $28,854 per annum. The scholarship is open
for application to both domestic and international students.
