About the Position

The International Excellence Scholarship offers a 25% tuition fee reduction to high-achieving international students commencing their studies at James Cook University (JCU) for the first time. This scholarship provides an opportunity for students to focus on their studies without worrying about the financial burden of tuition fees.

• Scholarship Stipend Value: 25% tuition fee reduction
• Degree Program: Full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programs (excluding certain programs)
• Available in: James Cook University (JCU)
• Host: James Cook University (JCU)

• Award Duration: Entire duration of the approved full degree study program
• Application Periods: Ongoing

Eligibility Criteria

• Be an international student commencing study at JCU for the first time
• Be a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student
• Not be enrolling in certain programs (Diplomas, End-on Honours degrees, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Graduate Certificates, Graduate Diplomas, online and non-award programs)
• Not be enrolling via a JCU partnership
• Meet the required academic achievement (ATAR of 65 or equivalent for undergraduate students, 65% or above achievement for postgraduate students)

• Eligible candidates will receive an offer for their program of study and the International Excellence Scholarship concurrently
