Eligibility 

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a citizen of one of the eligible South Asian countries (listed below) and reside in one of these countries at the time of application.
• Submit their application through a Deakin authorised agent based in one of the eligible countries.
• Demonstrate academic excellence, meeting one of the following criteria:
  • 85% overall in Year 12 scores of CBSE / ICSE / State Board; OR
  • A score of 10 overall in the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) / A Level; OR
  • 32 overall in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP); OR
  • 80% overall in an undergraduate degree.
• Meet all conditions of their Letter of Offer and comply with the specific terms and conditions outlined in the scholarship acceptance form.

• Bhutan
• Maldives

Selection 

The scholarship selection process is merit-based and considers the following factors:

• Academic achievements in previous studies.

• Potential to contribute as an ambassador for Deakin University.
