About the positions UnisQ Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Scholarship 2025 The Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Scholarship is offered by the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) to support and reward high academic achievers. The scholarship aims to encourage students who have excelled in their Year 12 studies (ATAR 88+) and are commencing their bachelor's degree at UniSQ. It provides financial support as well as opportunities to participate in leadership and development programs, and the UniSQ Student Ambassador Program. This scholarship is open to domestic students residing in Australia who are beginning their studies in a bachelor's degree program at UniSQ before 20 September 2025. Central Queensland University (CQU) RTP Scholarship 2025

The Central Queensland University RTP Scholarship is funded by the Australian Government to support both domestic and international students undertaking a Research Higher Degree (RHD). This scholarship aims to assist students in covering living costs while pursuing research at one of Australia's leading universities. It provides a generous annual stipend and full tuition coverage, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in advancing their research careers in Australia.

The scholarship is open to students enrolling in a Masters by Research or PhD program at Central Queensland University. This highly competitive scholarship is merit-based and considers academic excellence, research potential, and alignment with CQUniversity's research priorities.

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled or eligible to enroll in an accredited RHD course (Masters by Research or PhD) at CQUniversity
  • Not be receiving income from other sources to support general living costs during their studies
  • Meet the eligibility requirements of the CQUniversity Research Higher Degree program
  • Not be receiving a similar award or scholarship from the Commonwealth that offsets RHD tuition fees
  • Meet the English language proficiency requirements of CQUniversity

Selection Criteria 

The selection process is merit-based and evaluates the following criteria:

  • Academic achievement and writing skills (0-20 points)
  • Quality of research project and alignment with CQUniversity's research priorities (0-15 points)
  • Evidence of motivation, research experience, and suitability of research environment (0-15 points)

How to Apply

  • Step 1: Apply for a Research Higher Degree (Masters or PhD) at Central Queensland University
  • Step 2: Discuss your interest in the RTP Scholarship with your supervisory team
  • Step 3: If recommended by the supervisory team, prospective applicants will be invited to complete the scholarship application through the School of Graduate Research
  • Step 4: Submit the application before the deadline of 31 December 2024
