UnisQ Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Scholarship 2025

The Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Scholarship is offered by the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) to support and reward high academic achievers. The scholarship aims to encourage students who have excelled in their Year 12 studies (ATAR 88+) and are commencing their bachelor's degree at UniSQ. It provides financial support as well as opportunities to participate in leadership and development programs, and the UniSQ Student Ambassador Program.

This scholarship is open to domestic students residing in Australia who are beginning their studies in a bachelor's degree program at UniSQ before 20 September 2025. All bachelor programs at UniSQ are eligible for this scholarship.

 Scholarship Overview

  • Scholarship type: Stipend per study unit, per study period
  • Maximum value:
    • $20,000 for a 32-unit degree
    • $15,000 for a 24-unit degree
  • Study Level: Undergraduate 
  • Study Course: Open to all bachelor programs
  • Citizen type: Domestic students
  • Number of positions: Not specified
  • Duration: Duration of the degree program
  • Deadline: 30 June 2025

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a domestic student currently residing in Australia
  • Have completed Year 12 in 2024
  • Have an unadjusted ATAR between 88.00 and 96.95
  • Have placed UniSQ as their first preference on their QTAC application
  • Be a commencing student
  • Be intending to enroll full-time at UniSQ in a bachelor's degree program before 20 September 2025

Selection Criteria 

The selection criteria for this scholarship include:

  • Submission of QTAC applications and preferences by the required dates
  • Placement of the chosen UniSQ program as the first preference via QTAC
  • Automatic scholarship offer to all students meeting the required unadjusted ATAR

How to Apply

There is no separate application process for the Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Scholarship. To be considered, prospective students must:

  • Submit their QTAC applications and preferences by the required dates
  • Place their chosen UniSQ program as their first preference via QTAC
  • Students who meet the required unadjusted ATAR will automatically be offered the scholarship
