Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Citizenship/Residency Status:
- Australian citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
Enrollment Criteria:
- Enrolled full-time in an eligible undergraduate course at Swinburne University of Technology in Semester 1, 2025
- Completion of a Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification immediately before beginning the undergraduate degree in 2024. Eligible qualifications include:
- Certificate I-IV
- Diploma
- Advanced Diploma
- UniLink Diploma
Hardship Evidence: Applicants must provide evidence of financial and/or personal hardship, such as:
- Centrelink statements
- Health Care Card
- Australian Taxation Office (ATO) Payment Summary
Personal Statement: Submit a 500-word personal statement detailing personal and/or financial challenges experienced.
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on:
- Evidence of financial and/or personal hardship
- Merit of the personal statement provided
- Meeting all eligibility criteria
