University of Southern Queensland Scholarship 2026

The University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) invites outstanding international students to apply for its International PhD Stipend and Fee Scholarship (DPHD) for 2026. This prestigious scholarship is designed to support talented researchers in contributing to UniSQ’s world-class research initiatives.

The opportunity is open to international students who wish to pursue a full-time, on-campus Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at UniSQ. 

 Scholarship Overview

  • Scholarship type: Full tuition fee coverage
  • Stipend value: AUD $38,000 per year for living expenses
  • Other supports: Industry Internship (minimum 60 days for Industry Stream students); additional support for women in STEM and students with disabilities

Eligibility Criteria 

Applicants are expected to:

  • Have completed a Bachelor’s Degree with First Class Honours or an equivalent qualification.

  • Be eligible for full-time, on-campus enrollment in the UniSQ PhD program.

  • Be an international student (not an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident).

  • Commence or continue their PhD studies in 2026.

  • Relevance of the proposed PhD research to previous study or professional experience

  • Research publications, presentations, and demonstrated research skills
