Monash Accounting Honours Scholarship 2025

The Accounting Honours Scholarship is offered by Monash University to support academically outstanding students who are commencing the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree majoring in Accounting or Finance.
This opportunity is open to both domestic and international students and aims to reward high-achieving students who have demonstrated exceptional performance in their undergraduate accounting or finance coursework.

The scholarship is awarded for one academic year only and may also include an interview as part of the final selection stage.

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident, Australian humanitarian visa holder, or an International student
• Be commencing full-time in the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree majoring in Accounting or Finance at a Monash campus in Australia.

Eligible course or study program: Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with an Accounting or Finance major

Selection Criteria 

Selection is merit-based, with key considerations including:

• Academic achievement in Accounting or Finance units in the last two years of your undergraduate degree
• Any academic awards or prizes received
• Final stage of selection includes a panel interview

To retain this scholarship:

• Maintain full-time enrolment
• Achieve a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70

How to Apply

No separate application is required.
All eligible students are automatically assessed after enrolling in the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) at Monash.

This scholarship cannot be deferred.
