This scholarship is open to individuals who are prospective and current ECU students.

In order to apply for this scholarship you must have a PhD or Integrated PhD course offer. 

What are the eligibility criteria for ECU Higher Degree by Research Scholarship

Like any other scholarships, there are requirements that applicants must meet to be eligible for this scholarships. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants are expected to meet  all the minimum entry requirements :

1. Have been made an unconditional offer of place in an ECU higher degree by PhD or Integrated PhD research course*
2. Be able to commence your studies on-campus by 1 October 2021.

Special conditions attached to this scholarship

Applicants are not eligible to apply for the ECU Higher Degree by Research Scholarship  if any of the below apply:

• Applicant has completed an Australian Research Doctorate Degree or equivalent.
• Applicant has been in receipt of an Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) or an Australia Award scholarship within the last two years.
• If applicant has commenced in the Doctor of Philosophy (Integrated) J42 after Semester 1, 2021
• If applicant is in receipt of a stipend scholarship income that is greater than 75% of the base stipend rate

How to apply for ECU Higher Degree by Research Scholarship

The whole application process is done online. To apply for this scholarship, applicants are expected to lodge  their application online via ECU Online Scholarship Application Portal and follow prompts. Access to this  portal  is only available during the application period. ie from the opening date to the closing date for this scholarship. After the closing date, you can't no longer access this portal. The closing date for this scholarship application is 25-06-2021
