Applications for the Australian Government RTP Scholarships in the University of Sydney are open all year round. Deadline for the the application is per rounds across the whole academic year. See details below:
  • For Research periods 1 and 2, 2022, submission deadline is 30 September 2021
  • For Research periods 3 and 4, 2022, submission deadline is 30 November 2021
  • For Research periods 1 and 2, 2023, submission deadline is 30 September 2022
Therefore the next submission deadline in 2021 is November 30th, if you miss this date, you can re-submit again in September 30th 2022.

Eligibility criteria for  RTP scholarships-the University of Sydney

To be eligible for this scholarship, interested applicants must
  1. be a commencing or enrolled international postgraduate research student
  2. have an outstanding record of academic achievement and research potential
  3. have an unconditional offer of admission or be currently enrolled in a master's by research or PhD at the University of Sydney.
Applicants must also be enrolled full time to be eligible for this RTP scholarships.

Note that, RTP scholarships are based on academic merit and are highly competitive. To be successful, applicant must  have an outstanding academic record, and some research publications will be added advantage.
