About the position

University of Sydney International Scholarship 2024/25 (MSc/PhD positions)

Multiple international postgraduate research scholarship positions are available at the University of Sydney via the  International Scholarship Program 2024. The scholarships are open for eligible international students to undertake a Research Masters or PhD within any field of study across the University.

The International Scholarship will provide  a full-tuition cover and a $40,109 per annum living stipend to support high-quality international postgraduate students to study for a master's by research or PhD

Applications for Research Degree programs are accepted all year round but scholarships have a specific deadline, to be considered for the University of Sydney International Scholarship 2025, applications must be submitted by 13 September 2024 for Research Periods 1 and 2. For R Research Period 3 and 4, 2025, the submission deadline is 17 December 2024. Eligibility criteria for this scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship,

  1. Applicant must be a commencing or enrolled international student
  2. Applicant must have an outstanding record of academic achievement and research potential
  3. Applicant must have an unconditional offer of admission or be currently enrolled in a master's by research or PhD at the University of Sydney.

How to apply for this scholarship

Interested applicants must first submit a candidature for a research degree at the University of Sydney. During submission, select the checkbox to be considered for research scholarships when completing the admission application for your postgraduate research degree. A separate application is not required
