Curtin university Western Australian Premier’s University Scholarships Program 2025
This scholarship is funded by the Western Australian Government to attract high-achieving international undergraduate students to pursue their studies at Curtin University, one of Australia's leading institutions located in Perth, Western Australia.The opportunity is open exclusively to international students from selected countries who are commencing a full-time undergraduate course at the Curtin Perth campus in Semester 1, 2025. The scholarship is merit-based and valued at AUD$50,000, applied as a tuition fee discount. See application tips at the end of the post

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

Be an international, full-fee paying and non-sponsored student
-
Hold citizenship from one of the following countries:
Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Philippines, Republic of Korea (South Korea), Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Vietnam -
Be commencing their first undergraduate degree at Curtin Perth in Semester 1, 2025

Have received a Letter of Offer for a full course (minimum 2 years), with no prior learning credit or exemption

Have achieved:

Minimum ATAR of 95 or equivalent in completed higher secondary education, or
-
Minimum course weighted average of 90% or equivalent in tertiary studies that form the basis of admission
-

Meet criteria for obtaining an Australian international student visa and commence studies onshore in 2025
-
Accept the Letter of Offer by the stated deadline in the offer letter
-
Not be on a packaged pathway arrangement
-
Not be a recipient of any other scholarship from Curtin, the State, or the Commonwealth of Australia
Selection Criteria
The selection process will be competitive and based on:

Academic merit and excellence in previous secondary or tertiary education
-
Citizenship eligibility and compliance with visa requirements
-
Alignment with course entry requirements and length
-
Personal qualities or additional documents that may be requested (e.g. interview, statement, references)
Note: Selection will be finalized after the scholarship deadline. Only one recipient will be selected and notified in January 2025.
