Flinders University Research Scholarships (FURS) are prestigious opportunities offered to support outstanding postgraduate students in Australia and internationally. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, or hold Australian Permanent Residency; or
Be international students who completed an honours or equivalent qualification at an Australian university within the last three years;
Have completed at least four years of tertiary education at a high level of achievement (Honours 1 or high 2A, or equivalent);
Be enrolling as full-time students in a Masters by research or Doctorate by research program;
Have had their candidature accepted in the area of intended research.

Selection Criteria
The HDR Scholarships Committee selects recipients based on:
Academic merit and research potential
Ranking according to the University HDR Ranking Guidelines
Priority is given to students undertaking a higher degree by research for the first time
Achievements in previous studies and relevant research experience
How to apply
Students completing Honours in the year of application are eligible; predicted Honors scores will be used for initial ranking.
