Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident of Australia).

  • Meet all admission requirements for the selected undergraduate course at UTS.

  • Commence full-time on-campus study in Sydney (face-to-face and/or remote learning, except online-only or distance degrees).

  • Have completed Australian Year 12 or an equivalent high school qualification outside Australia within the last 3 years.

  • Have achieved an overall average of 85% or above (where the pass mark is 50%) in a recognized high school qualification.

  • Submit an online scholarship application form by the deadline.

Applicants must not:

  • Be enrolled in a UTS online or distance-learning program.

  • Be government-sponsored.

  • Hold another UTS scholarship at the same time.

Selection Criteria 

The scholarship will be awarded to the highest-ranked applicants based on:

  • Academic merit (final high school results used for admission).

  • Quality of responses to scholarship application questions (demonstrating values of excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and social justice).

  1. Apply for admission into a UTS undergraduate degree program.

  2. Complete the UTS online Scholarship Application Form within the application period (01 October – 31 October 2025).

  3. Provide accurate academic transcripts and supporting documents.

  4. Answer the scholarship application questions clearly, showcasing academic achievements, leadership, community service, or innovation initiatives.
