Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

Be commencing your first semester at UQ.

Be enrolling in an approved UQ Faculty of Science program (minimum one-year duration).

Have met all conditions of your offer by the scholarship’s closing date (acceptance of the offer is not required before applying).

Application process:
Online applications for Semester 1, 2026 commencing students will close at 10:00 am (AEST) on Monday, 17 November 2025.
Applicants are required to:

Complete the online scholarship application form via the UQ Scholarships website.

Submit a personal statement (maximum one page) demonstrating your capacity to create change and contribute to science.

Ensure all academic documents required for admission into the Faculty of Science are uploaded with your UQ program application.
