Southern Cross University Resilience Merit Scholarship 2025
This scholarship opportunity is being sponsored by Southern Cross University (SCU) to support high-achieving students who have demonstrated resilience in the face of financial and/or educational disadvantage.
The scholarship is designed to help talented students commence their undergraduate studies and succeed academically at Southern Cross University. It is therefore open to eligible domestic students beginning a Bachelor degree at SCU.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants are expected to:
Be commencing any full-time Bachelor degree at Southern Cross University
Be enrolled in a Commonwealth-supported place
Achieve a minimum ATAR (or IB equivalent) of 80 or above
Demonstrate financial and/or educational disadvantage
Not be in receipt of another Southern Cross University-funded scholarship
Be commencing studies in Term 1
Eligible Countries: Australia
Eligible course or study program: Any Bachelor degree at Southern Cross University
Selection Criteria
The selection criteria for this scholarship will be based on merit and equity considerations, including:
ATAR or ATAR equivalent achieved in Year 12 (2025)
Level and impact of financial and/or educational disadvantage
Evidence of resilience and ability to succeed at university
Quality of responses provided in the scholarship application
How to Apply
To be considered for the Southern Cross University Resilience Merit Scholarship, applicants must submit a scholarship application through Southern Cross University and demonstrate educational barriers by meeting one or more of the following:
Have an assessed application for a Southern Cross University Equity Scholarship
Have an accepted registration with Southern Cross University Inclusion Support
Provide strong and meritorious responses to hardship-related questions in the scholarship application
Applicants must also apply for admission into an eligible Bachelor degree at Southern Cross University.
