Australia is a popular study destination for international students, yes it can be expensive. However, there are many scholarships available to help international students finance their studies. In this blog post, we will provide tips on how to secure a full scholarship for a research degree(MSc/PhD) in Australia.

 Most Postgraduate scholarships in Australia require you to have extensive professional or working experience, especially in relation to your field of study and publications.  It is really hard to get any admission or scholarship in Australia without a significant score on your English Language proficiency test. Most scholarship requirements will want you to maintain at least an overall band 6 score with no component below 6 for IELTS. Some will require  6.5 overall, with no component below 6. Others will require an overall score of 7, with no component below 6.5. To stay on the safe side, a band score of 6.5 overall with no component less than 6 is your ultimate goal. Good recommendation letters from your supervisors or workplace are essential to secure a scholarship to study in Australia. Preparing your referees months ahead before your scholarship application is the major tip we can recommend here. You must give them enough time, and try to remind them again from time to time before the final day to submit your application.     1. Yes, Research MSc, PhD students and their dependent partners can work unlimited works. Undergraduate and Postgrad coursework students can work 24hrs per fortnight and unlimited during holidays

I would like to inquire whether it is mandatory to take the IELTS exam for admission to a master's or Ph.D. program. If it is not required, could you please recommend some alternative courses or qualifications that may be accepted for admission?

  7. Hi, if you are not from a native English speaking country such as USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, you must provide evidence to satisfy the English language requirement to study in Australia. So i recommend you get ready one. If you think u need an exemption, you can contact the University and provide evidence of your English language proficiency.
