About the positions:
ARC Training Centre for Integrated Operations for Complex Resources fully
funded HRD scholarships(16 positions)
16 fully-funded Higher Degree by Research(HDR) scholarship positions currently
available at the ARC Training Centre for Integrated Operations for
Complex Resources. The scholarships are open for eligible students
to undertake inter-disciplinary research in
- mining engineering,
- mineral processing,
- metallurgy,
- chemical engineering,
- biochemistry,
- geostatistics,
- applied geology,
- mechanical engineering,
- computer science,
- mathematics,
- statistics and related areas
The ARC Training Centre for Integrated Operations for Complex Resources is
funded by the Australian Research Council, and the applications would be
open until positions are filled. These postgraduate research scholarships
would support the student tuition fees with annual stipends for a duration of
3.5 years. Applications are welcome from all students, gender and nationality.

Eligibility criteria
These scholarships are open for both domestic and international students. To
be eligible applicants must the university Higher Degree by Research minimum

HDR3. Wireless sensor network radio frequency identification for
continuously deployable tagging (University of Adelaide).

HDR6. Pulp chemistry monitoring for leach applications (University of
South Australia).

HDR8. Fingerprinting ore types and blends by fusing hyper-spectral and
other sensor data using assisted machine learning (University of South
Australia).

An expression of interest should be submitted to iocr@adelaide.edu.au
with IOCR Training Centre PLUS the specific HDR project number (e.g. HDR
3) of one or more of the projects in the subject heading.
The following documents must be attached when sending the expression of
interest:
