Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarship (CF-MGS)

Applications are invited for the Monash University Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarships 2022. The Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarship (CF-MGS) are award program scholarships sponsored by Monash University to support international students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees. 

The CF-MGS scholarships are co-funded by Monash University and the enrolling faculty. The scholarships help support students with living costs whilst studying at Monash.

CF-MGS scholarship eligibility criteria 

To be eligible for the Monash University Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarships 2022, the applicant must be an international student, and must meet the following criteria ;

1. meet Monash's competitive scholarship selection process requirements and
2. meet Monash's English language proficiency requirements.

 The scholarship selection criteria

To be awarded the Monash University Co-funded Monash Graduate Scholarships 2022, interested applicants must have strong research potential and outstanding academic achievements, the scholarships will be awarded based:

1. On the applicant's academic record,
2. any research outputs and
3.  prior research experience.

How to apply for this scholarship

The application for graduate research scholarships is done at the time of applying for your course unless you are already enrolled.  Whether you are a new or current student, the same application process is used for both admission and/or scholarship via the University Admissions and Scholarship Portal.  You do not need to specify which scholarship you are applying for as you are automatically considered for all graduate research scholarships (where eligible).

Applicants are encouraged to obtain an Expression of Interest (EOI) from the relevant faculty before starting their application. This is because each faculty has a different EOI process.
