Griffith University is rewarding exceptional students applying for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degree programs with the Griffith Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship. Scholarship Overview

  • Scholarship type: 50% tuition fee cover
  • Stipend value: $32,192.00 (2024 rate) per annum, paid fortnightly
  • Health Insurance: Single standard Overseas Student Health Cover
  • Degree Program: MSc/PhD
  • Available in: Any field of choice
  • Citizen type: International students
  • Number of Awards: Multiple
  • Award Duration: Up to 3 years for PhD and 2 years for MSc. No extensions.
    • Deadline: Varies (Trimester 3, 2024: 10 August 2024; Trimester 1, 2025: 30 November 2024; Trimester 2, 2025: 12 April 2025)

    Scholarship Details

    To receive the Griffith Vice Chancellor’s International scholarship, you must accept both your program offer and the scholarship by the deadline specified in your Scholarship Letter. The scholarship is applied prior to the census date of each trimester, provided you meet ongoing enrolment requirements. You must pay the remaining balance of fees by the census date.

    Eligibility Requirements 

    To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must:

    • Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
    • Have a minimum GPA of 6.0 or above on a 7-point scale or equivalent in previous studies.
    • Have received an offer to study at Griffith by the scholarship application closing date.
    • Satisfy all academic and English language entry requirements for your chosen undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
    • Be a full-time student starting in 2024, 2025, or 2026.

    Benefits

    • The scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees for the duration of the program.
