The Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) International Stipend Scholarship is designed to support outstanding international students pursuing Higher Degree Research (HDR) programs at accredited Australian Higher Education Providers (HEPs). This competitive scholarship is aimed at fostering academic excellence and enabling research students to focus on innovative and impactful projects in Australia.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

Be international students enrolled full-time in an accredited HDR course at an Australian HEP.
Not be receiving another source of income that exceeds 75% of the RTP stipend rate for general living costs.
Not be receiving an equivalent Commonwealth-funded award or scholarship for tuition fee offset.
Meet all requirements for HDR admission at their chosen institution.
