About the position
Centre for Augmented Reasoning: 9 fully-funded PhD scholarships in
machine learning
Up to 9 fully-funded PhD scholarships in machine learning with a focus
on augmented reasoning are available at Adelaide University. These
scholarships are available across eight projects which are funded by the
Department of Education, Skills and Employment to fully support full-time PhD
students to undertake research in machine learning with a focus on augmented
reasoning. Through grants and PhD scholarships, the Centre for Augmented
Reasoning has as the main goal to support Advanced Reasoning research to
foster innovation and rapid commercialisation, and increase AI literacy and
engagement in Australia.
The scholarships are available to both domestic Australian students
and international students who are accepted as candidates for a PhD
degree at the University of Adelaide. Applications from female

Eligibility Criteria
The scholarships are open for both domestic and international students.
Eligible International students who meet the minimum
Doctor of Philosophy requirements for Adelaide University is encouraged to apply. Applications from
female students are also highly encouraged
